Hi there!
My name is Joeri Verhagen, and I currently live in Leiden, the Netherlands. I created this space to share my passion for motorsport and automotive photography.
My passion for photography began when I received a digital camera from my parents. Even though I was young, I immediately got a taste for it.
A few years later, I won a photo contest in my first year of high school, with a €15 gift card as the prize. A big victory of course, so this guy wasn’t going to stop.
Exactly on my 18th birthday, I picked up my driver’s license at the town hall, and two months later I did a skid course. That’s where my passion for action and speed began, and soon I combined my photography with motorsport and automotive. In 2021, I bought my first “professional” camera and started taking it more seriously.
Nowadays, I’m honored to have captured the stories of various teams and drivers on the track. It’s incredibly rewarding to contribute to people’s dream careers through photography. My passion lies in humanizing motorsports, revealing the face behind the helmet and the drive that fuels racers in pursuit of their dreams.
